How did you guys decide to adopt?
We always knew we wanted to adopt sometime in our marriage (adoption is in our blood!). When we started trying to start our family and when fertility treatments weren't working, we knew adoption was the next step! After a quick month of waiting, we were placed with our sweet Lemmon. You can read all about her adoption here and here.
What ethnicity are you all?
One of the most popular questions we get! Funny, huh? ;-) Kashia is half hispanic and my mom is adopted so I am not quite sure what the other half of my ethnicity is. Riley is Caucasian, Lemmon is full African America/Creole.
What do you use on Lemmon's hair?
I love to switch up products! Right now we are using Cantu Conditioner, this oil (it's a game changer), this brush, this curl creme and this curl gel/creme. Oh, and this is the best sleeping bonnet! We will hopefully have a video up soon of her hair routine!
Where did you get Lemmon's name?
It's my mother-in-laws maiden name and we are very close to that side of our family. We just think the world of them and want Lemmon to look at her name as strong, love of family and so much happiness! And Tasia is after her birth mom's name and my name combined. It only seemed fitting that Lemmon carry both of us :-)
How do you stay in shape?
I go to the gym/run 5 days a week. I try and run 2-3 times a week then go to the gym the other days. I like to cross train in the gym and do some sort of cardio everyday. I am a big cardio bunny! I also try and eat healthy on a regular basis. I don't like fast food restaurants very much and am a vegetarian so that probably helps a lot ;-) I drink this protein every day (post all about it here) and eat smaller meals rather then big meals everyday.
